MA Dance Practice and Performance

Entry requirements

Academic: • Require 55% to 60% or above in Graduation Degree. • Required Subject - Applicants are required to provide a link to a short film (10 minutes maximum) of them dancing. This can be a solo dance, or an excerpt from a class or performance setting where the applicant is clearly identified in the film. The work should be accompanied by a short written statement (<250 words) which reveals the applicant’s interest in developing their performance practice.

English: • Medium of Instruction (MOI) will be accepted to fulfil the English language requirement within 5 years (except Punjab and Haryana) 60% in Class 12th English + MOI (Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). • IELTS: 6.5 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component. • TOEFL: 89 overall with a minimum of 17 in listening and writing, 18 in reading and 20 in speaking. • PTE: total score of 59 with 59 in all subtests.
