Entry requirements

Academic: 12 years of schooling with an overall average of 75% in four academic subjects, including a min 60% in English and min 65% in Mathematics and Physics from All-India Senior Certificate (AISSC) - Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), or Indian School Certificate (ISC) - Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), or Indian State Boards - Karnataka, Maharashtra or West Bengal State Board Examinations. All other Higher Secondary State Board Examinations require an overall average of 80% in four academic subjects with a min 65% in English and min 65% in Mathematics and Physics.

English: Student will required to pay $1222 separately. IELTS Academic Online and PTE Academic Online are not accepted. The maritime engineering majors are delivered in partnership with the Australian Maritime College (AMC) in Launceston, Tasmania. Students study the first two years at AUT and the last two years at AMC. Maritime engineering students can focus on Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering.
