Entry requirements

Academic: A degree with an education focus is not required, although undergraduate study in education courses will be an advantage with minimum 55%. Relevant work experience in teaching is not a requirement, but some experience with 0–5-year-olds (early childhood education) or 5-12 year olds (primary/intermediate) will be important to provide evidence of suitability to work in this sector.

English: Student will required to pay services levy of $1,527 separately. July 2026 intake is only available for early childhood teaching at the City Campus. IELTS Academic Online and PTE Academic Online are not accepted. TOEFL iBT (Internet Based TOEFL): Overall score of 98 and the following scores in each module: Listening - 24; Reading - 24; Writing - 27; Speaking – 23. PTE Academic: Overall score of 69 with 61 in Listening, 62 in Reading, 73 in Writing and 79 in Speaking.
