Entry requirements

Academic: A degree with an education focus is not required, although undergraduate study in education courses will be an advantage with minimum 55%. Relevant work experience in teaching is not a requirement, but some experience with 0–5-year-olds (early childhood education) or 5-12 year olds (primary/intermediate) will be important to provide evidence of suitability to work in this sector.

English: Student will required to pay services levy of $1,527 separately. July 2026 intake is only available for early childhood teaching. IELTS Academic Online and PTE Academic Online are not accepted. PTE Academic: Overall score of 69 with 61 in Listening, 62 in Reading, 73 in Writing and 79 in Speaking. TOEFL iBT (Internet Based TOEFL): Overall score of 98 and the following scores in each module: Listening - 24; Reading - 24; Writing - 27; Speaking – 23.
